Borrower Information

Registration:

• Library Cards are free if you live or own property in the City of Redlands or are a City of Redlands employee.

• Non-resident's pay $25.00 per year which includes the entire family

• Identification with current home address must be shown upon applying

• Minors may apply for a Library card when accompanied by a parent or guardian with proper identification

• Self-Registered borrowers can utilize their temporary ID to create saved book lists in their account profile

• Two weeks for books, audio materials, pamphlets, and periodicals

• Six week loan for framed art with no renewals

• Reference periodicals overnight only

• All materials may be renewed once for an additional two weeks except "New Books" or books on reserve

• Books can be renewed online via the "MyAccount" login screen or by phone at: (909)-798-7565

• Borrowers may check out 15 items per card

• The Library is not responsible for damages to audio-visual equipment

• Fines are 15 cents per day for adult and juvenile materials. Sundays and holidays excluded

• A reserve or hold may be placed for 50 cents per item (you are notified by mail)

• If materials are overdue more than 30 days, all borrowing privileges are denied until items are returned and fines paid
