Registration:

Library Cards are free if you live or own property in the City of Redlands or are a City of Redlands employee.

Non-resident's pay $25.00 per year which includes the entire family

Identification with current home address must be shown upon applying

Minors may apply for a Library card when accompanied by a parent or guardian with proper identification

Self-Registered borrowers can utilize their temporary ID to create saved book lists in their account profile
Loan
Period and Renewals:

Two weeks for books, audio materials, pamphlets, and periodicals

Six week loan for framed art with no renewals

Reference periodicals overnight only

All materials may be renewed once for an additional two weeks except "New Books" or books on reserve

Books can be renewed online via the "MyAccount" login screen or by phone at: (909)-798-7565
Limits and Overdue Fines:

Borrowers may check out 15 items per card

The Library is not responsible for damages to audio-visual equipment

Fines are 15 cents per day for adult and juvenile materials. Sundays and holidays excluded
-
A reserve or hold may be placed for 50 cents per item (you are notified by mail)

If materials are overdue more than 30 days, all borrowing privileges are denied until items are returned and fines paid
